Riyadh Masters Participants Announced
Riyadh Masters 2023 is a $15,000,000 tournament held in Saudi Arabia that will feature twenty of the best teams in the world.
Eight teams have already been invited to start from the Group Stage:
- Gaimin Gladiators
- PSG.LGD
- BetBoom Team
- Tundra Esports
- Talon Esports
- Shopify Rebellion
- Evil Geniuses
- Team Spirit
Meanwhile, the remaining twelve teams will participate in the Play-in stage:
- OG
- Team Aster
- 9 Pandas
- Quest Esports
- Beastcoast
- TSM
- Virtus Pro
- Execration
- Team Liquid
- Entity Gaming
- Team Secret
- Xtreme Gaming
The Play-in stage will begin on July 19 and end on the 20th. The twelve teams will be divided into two groups and battle it out in the Round Robin system in Bo2 format.
Each group's first and second-place finishers will advance to the Group Stage, while the remaining teams will play against each other in relegation matches for the final few slots in the Group Stage.
The Group Stage will be held from July 21 to 24. In the Group Stage, the top four teams from each group will qualify for the Upper Bracket, while the fifth and sixth placers will be sent to the Lower Bracket.
The playoffs of the $15,000,000 event is scheduled to start on July 25 and end on the 30th. Will the Gaimin Gladiators win another tournament, or will another team emerge victorious? Let us know in the comments below!
