Gaimin Gladiators Make Quick Work Of The Last North American Team
The most successful team of the year had to start their Final TI Weekend run in the Lower Bracket against Nouns.
As expected, the Gladiators could take out the underdog team in a convincing fashion. The series was a total stomp, and it only took Gaimin Gladiators 34 and 25 minutes to end the two games.
In both maps, Seleri got his signature Chen. Buying auras and Solar Crest helped Gaimin group up as five and take objectives early into the game. They understood that Nouns liked to stall the game late for K1 to carry, so creating early push drafts was the easy solution.
Position four player tOfu was brought in for a post-game interview, and he shared a few words on how the team is feeling on their TI run:
“There’s been a lot of changes and things we’ve had to progressively work on, but I feel like we’re in a really good spot right now. I’m just happy for every game we get to play on stage here.”
The Gladiators have secured a top six finish, but they’re not looking to stop here. Meanwhile, the TI run for Nouns has ended with a top eight result. A very respectable finish.
