DLTV Best Player Awards Of 2023, Position 2: First Place
The best Mid player of 2023, according to DLTV, was the American player of the Gaimin Gladiators - Quinn. Like every other Quinn player, the past year became a turning point in Quinn's career.
Quinn had been around in the professional Dota scene since 2015, shuffling through numerous American teams but found little to no success. He had only won one tournament with OpTic Gaming, the StarLadder ImbaTV Invitational Season 5, many years ago.
The Gaimin Gladiators decided to replace BOOM with Quinn after a poor showing at The International 11, and boy, that was one of the best decisions in Dota 2 history. Together with the Gladiators, Quinn won three Majors in a row, including other results:

- 2nd place at The International 12
- 2nd place at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023
Quinn played 320 maps on 31 heroes, and his top three choices were:
- Pangolier (68 Maps, 66% Win Rate)
- Leshrac (37 Maps, 70% Win Rate)
- Ember Spirit (34 Maps, 68% Win Rate)
Relative to other Mid Laners, Quinn boasted some of the best statistics in 2023:

Just yesterday, Quinn also reached 13,000 MMR, claiming Rank 1 in the European region, which is also Rank 1 globally. He dethroned watson after the Carry player’s smurf got banned.
