The sixth day of DreamLeague Season 20 decided multiple results in the group stage. Talon Esports find a win against an undefeated BetBoom, while 9 Pandas fall short against PSG.LGD and are eliminated from the tournament. Gaimin Gladiators defeat Team Aster to inch closer to their spot in the top four, and Team Spirit win their series against Evil Geniuses to stay alive in the tournament. With two playoff teams decided, Gaimin Gladiators, Evil Geniuses, Talon Esports, and Team Spirit will fight for the final two playoffs spot.

Games To Watch

PSG.LGD vs. 9 Pandas - Game 1

The first game between PSG.LGD and 9 Pandas started off very interestingly, as NothingToSay and shiro had misclicked their heroes in the drafting stage. NothingToSay was supposed to be playing Ember Spirit in the Mid Lane, while shiro would be playing Morphling in the Safe Lane. Funnily enough, they ended up playing the wrong heroes, and the admin didn’t allow a remake.

Despite playing the wrong hero, NothingToSay demolished the game with his Morphling, finishing with a KDA of 14/0/18. People are joking that NothingToSay will be PSG.LGD’s permanent Morph player.

Team Aster vs. Gaimin Gladiators - Game 2

Despite being eliminated already, SumaiL and Team Aster put up a great show in the second game of their match against the Gaimin Gladiators, which was arguably the most entertaining game we’ve had in this tournament so far.

Game 2 was a very action packed game, with both teams swinging the lead back-and-forth in an enjoyable 64-minute game. Team Aster managed to take a close victory in the second game, forcing a Game 3 decider in the series.

Team Aster vs. Gaimin Gladiators - Game 3

The fun doesn’t end on Game 2 in the series between Aster and the Gladiators, as Game 3 also delivered. Team Aster were looking to take their first victory in the group stage, as they had firm control throughout the entirety of the third game.

Despite being down 17,000 gold, Gaimin Gladiators could take an amazing team fight in the Dire Triangle, where dyrachyo’s Faceless Void was able to get a three-person Chronosphere to completely turn the game around.

One team fight victory alone was able to turn the game a full 180 degrees, and Gaimin Gladiators completed the comeback to secure their fourth win in the group stage.
