Entity Make Quick Work Of Team Secret, They Have Two Chances To Qualify To TI
The second Upper Bracket match of the WEU Qualifiers for The International 2023 featured Team Secret and Entity Gaming.
This Western European matchup was sprinkled with some SEA players, where ex-teammates Gabbi and Armel would play against each other. The winner of the series would secure top three and is given two chances to punch tickets to TI.
Though we expected a close matchup between the two teams, Entity didn’t want to take any chances and easily took the series.
The first game wasn’t even close. Entity had complete control over the game, with Watson’s Phantom Assassin going out of control. Entity only fed five kills to end the game with a kill score of 23-5.
Unfortunately, the same story repeated, as Team Secret had no chance in Game 2 either. Again, Watson, on Templar Assassin this time, could farm uncontested. With joint efforts from Stormstormer and Gabbi, the three Entity cores became too much to deal with, and Secret was forced to tap out.
Gabbi dropped some friendly all-chat to share some love with his ex-teammate Armel after knocking him down.
Entity will play against Luna Galaxy for a slot at The International. If Entity loses, they will still have a second chance. Meanwhile, Team Secret only has one shot remaining.
