What questions will the Regional Finals in Europe, Asia and South America answer?

The Regional Finals in Europe, Asia, and South America begin tomorrow, February 11. Each lasts until February 13 and has a total prize pool of $100,000 and 380 DPC points. Let's ask questions that will be answered after they're over.

Are the substitutions justified just before the start?

Just days before the start of the Regional Final, BOOM Esports and T1 announced changes to their rosters. BOOM Esports moved ??Justine Ryan Evangelista "Tino" Grimaldo to reserve and took Motivate Trust player ??Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong in his place. T1 also had a carry replacement: ??Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon was excluded from the main roster, and ??Kim "Gabbi" Villafuerte Santos temporarily took his place.

These changes beg the question. Was it worth changing a stable roster a few days before the Regional Finals? While the T1 didn't have their best regular season DPC, finishing with a 5-2 statistic, BOOM Esports won it, losing only 1 match.

Who can beat Thunder Awaken?

During the regular DPC season, Thunder Awaken remained the only team in the region that didn't lose a single series: the team only gave up 1 map against NoPing e-sports over the entire season. In addition to the results, 4 players of Thunder Awaken ranked in the Top-10 by average KDA during the regular season. By comparison, of the other 3 teams in the regional finals, only 3 players made the Top-10.

Could Infamous, beastcoast, and King of Kings improve their play after the regular season and prepare for the Thunder Awaken playstyle? Or will the team have an easy win in the Regional Final?

Who is stronger — youth or experience?

A very intriguing situation is in Europe. In the Regional Final, there are teams with the opposite approach to assembling the roster. Team Liquid and Tundra Esports consist of experienced and famous Esportsmen against OG and Gladiators (ex-Team Tickles) are young and still hungry for wins.

Who will become the winner in the European region: a team of experienced players or newcomers? We'll know on February 13.
