Virtus Pro excludes from GAMERS GALAXY
Russian team Virtus Pro has been excluded from the list of participants GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022. The team's player, ??Egor "Xakoda" Lipartiya, shared this information.
The tournament organizer didn't make an official statement about the team's exclusion but changed the schedule. Today's game day was supposed to start with the match between Virtus Pro and Nigma Galaxy SEA at 10:00 am CET. However, based on the organizer's announcement this morning, all of the team's matches were removed from the schedule.
Last night, a Virtus Pro representative told of blackmail by the organizer of the Dota 2 tournament. He asked the club to make a public statement about the situation in Ukraine.
GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022 takes place in Dubai from March 2 to 6. Teams from different regions compete for a total prize pool of $272,000.
