Team Tickles And Nightshade Esports Make It To The Closed Qualifier Over Alliance And MinD_Control's Stack
The first round of the WEU Open Qualifiers for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 has ended. Two teams, Team Tickles and Nightshade Esports, have made it to the Closed Qualifier, where Team Liquid and OG Esports await.
Team Tickles consists of three ex-Geek Fam players, Force, NARMAN, and Ulnit. Joining them is Lorenof and Dukalis. They defeated Alliance in a 2-1 series to finish their Open Qualifier run.
Meanwhile, Komanda X, MinD_ContRoL's stack, failed to defeat Nightshade Esports in their qualification match. Nightshade Esports consisted of unknown players, and managed to pull off an upset to deny Komanda X from the Closed Qualifier.

Still, Alliance and Komanda X will play a third-place decider match for the third slot in the Closed Qualifier. The loser will have a second chance in the second round of qualifiers, but other notable teams like Team Secret await.
