Team Spirit Deny Aurora’s Upset Attempt, Winning 2-1
The TI winners are slowly ramping up, as they have defeated Aurora in the Upper Bracket of the PGL Wallachia Season 2 Playoffs.
In the first map, Aurora snowballed the early game with an aggressive Bristleback carry draft. Despite holding on to a significant net worth lead, Aurora could not break Team Spirit’s high ground with the fear of Collapse’s Magnus. After the game was dragged to the 60-minute mark, Aurora collected Tier 5 items and eventually won the game.
The second game wasn’t too entertaining, as both teams spent most of their time farming. Yatoro’s Lifestealer was able to farm his core items and dominate the game with a flawless 6/0/6 KDA.
Aurora could not get anything going on the third map of the series. Team Spirit won the early game and continued growing their net worth advantage. After a 40,000 gold lead at the 40-minute mark, Yatoro and the team sealed the deal to win the game and series.
The Southeast Asian squad was sent to the Lower Bracket, where they will play against G2.iG. Meanwhile, Team Spirit will have a date with Xtreme Gaming at the Upper Bracket.
