Team Falcons Continue Birmingham Run After Eliminating OG
The favorite of the tournament, Team Falcons, have returned to form. ATF took the opportunity to send his best friend Bzm and his former teammates home after a 2-1 victory. OG will pack their bags after a satisfactory 4th place finish in an event they weren’t supposed to be in.
In the first game, OG had a decent start to the game, but fed a lot of pickoffs to Team Falcons, allowing them to take the lead. Timado’s Monkey King could not get anything going, and the MENA squad took team fight after team fight. skiter’s Naga Siren ended the first map with a KDA of 8/0/12 and 951 GPM. To add insult to injury, Sneyking denied the Aegis since the Falcons were so far ahead.
Malr1ne went for a 24th-pick Earthshaker in the following game, and Team Falcons did relatively well in the early stages. However, Timado redeemed himself with an impeccable performance on his Chaos Knight, essentially hard-carrying his team. The newest OG recruit ended the second map 15/0/11 – a flawless game.
Unfortunately, OG's Cinderella run ended abruptly in the third map, as Team Falcons completely outclassed them. Apart from Sneyking who was 0/9/23, the remaining members of the Falcons roster barely fed any kills to OG. skiter’s Gyrocopter went 19/1/10 with 42,000 hero damage, which is nearly double the second-highest damage dealing hero in the game.

Overall, OG can be satisfied with this performance. They were invited at the last minute, and still made an incredibly deep run, finishing within the top four. Ari was given a lot of love from the crowd, being a representative of the United Kingdom.
Team Falcons advance to the final day of ESL One Birmingham 2024, and will play against Tundra Esports for a spot in the Grand Final where the BetBoom Team awaits.
