The fourth day of PGL Wallachia Season 1 has ended. Starting Day 4, only one series will be played at a time, as all matches from this point on will result in elimination or advancement. All of today's games were elimination matches.

Nouns 0-2 G2.iG

The day started with Nouns taking on G2.iG Though Nouns had been showing promising results throughout the tournament, their run was ended early by the Chinese squad.

Fly and the team were outdrafted in both games, and did not put up much of a fight. The two maps ended in 33 and 34 minutes, and G2.iG lived to see another day.

The newest recruit, Copy, got a nice rampage on the first map, but it still was not enough to win.

Team Liquid 2-0 MOUZ

The next series on the list was Team Liquid versus MOUZ. iNSaNiA and company were surprisingly upset by Shopify Rebellion the day before, but showed it was just a fluke.

Team Liquid dominated the first map in 30 minutes, shutting down Ulnit's 24th pick carry Bristleback and forcing him to end the game 0/8/2.

The second game was back-and-forth, but Nisha popped off on his Templar Assassin, going 16/4/15 to push his team through the finish line.

MOUZ, who were replacements for Tundra Esports, will bid farewell to their first international LAN event together.

Team Secret 2-1 Virtus.pro

The best match of the day was saved for last. Team Secret took on Virtus.pro in an elimination match. The two teams traded maps, and there was nothing too exciting. However, all the action resided in the final game.

Virtus.pro had an excellent start to the decisive map, winning the lanes convincingly and building a sizable lead. They shut down Crystallis’ Lifestealer, who was at one point below Antares on the net worth graph.

However, the Eastern European squad failed to convert their lead into a significant advantage, and Team Secret slowly made good pickoffs and came back into the game. Eventually, Secret ’s scaling lineup turned the game around and took full advantage.

Being an elimination game, Virtus.pro did not give up and defended their throne with numerous buybacks. The game was dragged to 89 minutes, where Virtus.pro tried to make a desperate all-in play. However, the play failed, allowing Team Secret to steal the series 2-1, eliminating their opponents from the event.

All the winners of today will have to win one more series to advance to the Playoffs.
