On May 28, the Eastern European DPC will feature two matches with Virtus.Pro taking on One Move, and Team Spirit facing off against Hydra.

Virtus.Pro 2-0 One Move

VP are sitting 1-2 in the group stage, but those two losses come from the big dogs Team Spirit and BetBoom. They are looking to tie their score up against One Move, one of the weaker teams in the bracket.

Game 1

The drafts for Game 1 came out relatively even, with no team having a clear outdraft. However, when it came to execution, Virtus.Pro showed the difference in skill between the two teams, taking the lead 30 minutes in. One Move were able to show signs of resistance but ultimately had to concede the game in the 49th minute. An MVP performance can be rewarded to squad1x’s Queen of Pain, as he dealt over 61,000 hero damage in this game.

Game 2

One Move came out of the early game on top in the second game, leading with 4,000 gold 13 minutes in. However, One Move’s lead slowly slipped out of the fingers once Kiritych on Luna and squad1x on Queen of Pain managed to collect their core items. From the 29th minute onwards, VP showed why they are contenders to qualify for the Bali Major, winning against One Move in 36 minutes.

Team Spirit 2-1 Hydra

Hydra are currently sitting 6th place in the group stage, risking a potential demotion to Division II. Unfortunately for them, their opponents for this day weren’t easy.

Game 1

Team Spirit picked an early Bloodseeker and moved him to the Offlane, as Yatoro was able to get his hands on Juggernaut later on in the draft. Up ‘'til the 32-minute mark, the game was very even until a big fight broke out at the bottom Roshan area, where Yatoro managed to snag an Ultra Kill to put Spirit in the driving seat. Kami’s Medusa had a rough game, finishing 2/10/9 before Hydra called GG in the 39th minute.

Game 2

In Game 2, Yatoro got his Morphling, but things didn't go as planned. The game was dead even 15 minutes in, but Hydra ran away with the game. Worick had a perfect game on Batrider, with a KDA of 10/0/9. Yatoro finished the game 0/5/1, getting nothing done. Spirit tapped out early at 29 minutes, with the final kill score ending 23-9 in Hydra's favor.

Game 3

DLTV fans heavily favored Team Spirit’s draft for Game 3, with Hydra going for a 24th-pick Lifestealer. Team Spirit slightly won the laning stage and proceeded to make good rotations as a unit to choke Hydra out of their map. Game 3 turned out to be a straightforward game for the better team, as Team Spirit finished the game 34 minutes in, with Hydra's Carry last pick feeling very underwhelming. After losing this game, Hydra now risks relegation to Division II.
