China’s Division I for May 27 has a packed schedule, with three matches being decided. To start the day off, we have an unstoppable PSG.LGD against Team Bright, Xtreme Gaming facing off Aster.Aries, ending the day with Azure Ray versus Invictus Gaming.

PSG.LGD 2-0 Team Bright

Team Bright is one of the two weakest teams in the Summer DPC Tour, sitting at a record of 0-4, only managing to win one game. PSG.LGD came on today to claim their free win against Bright.

Game 1

In Game 1 of the series, we witnessed shiro again on his Medusa, a highly successful hero for the PSG.LGD side. The game wasn’t a complete stomp, as Team Bright could hold on for a long time. Ultimately, shiro’s Medusa finished the 47-minute game 9/1/8 with a net worth of 49,000 and a GPM of over 1000!

Game 2

PSG.LGD once again got their hands on Medusa, but in Game 2, the MVP has to go to NothingToSay on his Ember Spirit. PSG.LGD made quick work of Team Bright in the second game, managing a nice and easy 33-minute win. NothingToSay dealt 29,000 hero damage in 33 minutes, ending with a 7/0/10 KDA.

Xtreme Gaming 2-0 Aster.Aries

Aster.Aries seemed like the second-weakest team in the division and had a formidable opponent in the form of Xtreme Gaming.

Game 1

Xtreme Gaming had complete control of the entirety of Game 1, but it took them some time to end the game. After 51 minutes, Xtreme Gaming were finally able to close it out with great performances from their core players. Eurus had a stellar performance on Pangolier and finished the game 14/2/18 with 54,000 hero damage, giving Aster.Aries no chance.

Game 2

Xtreme Gaming had an interesting Position 4 Batrider pick for kaka in Game 2, but despite the weird draft, they were able to show the difference in class between the two teams. Xtreme utterly dominated Aster.Aries in 31 minutes with almost no issues at all. Another flawless performance from Eurus, who finished 10/0/21 on Ember Spirit.

Invictus Gaming 0-2 Azure Ray

To conclude the matches on May 27, IG will be facing off against Azure Ray, who are looking very solid so far despite the team being formed right before the Summer season.

Game 1

Game 1 of the Best of 3 series was very passive. Both teams had carry heroes that required lots of farm, having Terrorblade for IG and Arc Warden for Azure Ray, so both teams were waiting for their carries to come online. Azure Ray came out on top in the farming game, as Lou’s Arc Warden was able to heavily out farm everyone else in the game to help his team win in 40 minutes.

Game 2 - Game To Watch

Our Game To Watch for today will be Game 2 of Invictus Gaming versus Azure Ray. Both teams came out of the drafting stage with solid ideas, and the game came down to execution. Invictus took a slight net worth lead out of the laning stage, but the game stayed relatively even before the clock hit 25.

At the 25th minute, a huge team fight broke out in the Top Lane, where Lou on Faceless Void landed a three-man Chronosphere to help Azure Ray team wipe IG without losing a single hero. The gold lead went from even to 8,000 in favor of Azure Ray in the span of a minute, and things began to go out of hand on IG’s side. Using the Aegis and net worth lead, Azure Ray took complete control of the game and forced IG to tap out in the 33rd minute. Lou landed the game-winning Chronosphere, but credit has to be given to Somnus, who played exceptionally well on his Void Spirit, ending the game with a KDA of 11/3/11.
