OG Upset Xtreme Gaming 2-0 To Start Their Birmingham Campaign
OG defeated the Elite League winners, Xtreme Gaming, in their first ESL One Birmingham 2024 match.
The first map was a stalemate, as both teams continued farming and avoided fights. However, Xtreme Gaming made several mistakes that led OG to take a firm lead in the game. Timado’s Luna spiraled out of control and helped OG end the game in 42 minutes. Despite losing, Xm’s Pangolier displayed a world-class performance, going 7/1/8, considering Xtreme Gaming had 17 kills.
The second map was a total stomp in favor of OG, who completed the 2-0 in only 30 minutes. Bzm, who celebrated his birthday yesterday, played his signature Invoker and had a near-flawless performance.
Xtreme Gaming looks like a weaker version of themselves but will have plenty more matches to play for redemption.
