Koma` Regrets His Decisions And Requests To Be Unbanned
Kamil "Koma`" Biktimirov, a 20-year-old professional Russian player, received a lifetime ban for account sharing in December 2022. The news of his ban was released just after the young player had earned himself a spot in Virtus.Pro, resulting in the organization immediately looking for a player to replace him.
Kamil created an open letter on Reddit to request a second chance from Valve and the community and expressed his most profound regret for his actions. He admits to account sharing but mentions that his manager, Lil_skrip, asked Koma` to play from another person's account to "get more practice in."

His manager told him that no match fixing is involved, and practice like this is essential for him to perform better in future tournaments. Koma` didn't overthink the potential consequences of sharing this account and followed along as it seemed like another day of practice to him. Soon enough, Valve had announced the lifetime bans of ten players, and Kamil found himself on that list of players.
Koma` claims that he was naive and has learned his lesson. He didn't want his career to end off of one wrong decision, quoting that he "did not act on malicious intent or financial greed" and that "he is just a kid who wants to play Dota."
Kamil then brings up other players in the scene who were given second chances, mentioning the names of Volodymyr "No[o]ne-" Minenko for account sharing and Alexey "Solo" Berezin for match-fixing.
