IG Are Going To Bali, Azure Ray and Xtreme Gaming Fight For The Last Chinese Slot
On the fourth of June, Xtreme Gaming and Invictus Gaming were destined to play against each other for their final Summer DPC Tour match, with the winner of the series directly qualifying for the Bali Major.
IG have lost to Xtreme Gaming two times on both previous DPC Tours. Xtreme Gaming were looking to repeat their convincing head-to-head wins against IG, but this time, it didn’t happen. Invictus Gaming were able to win the series 2-1 against Xtreme Gaming to secure their spot in the Bali Major, their second Major appearance of the DPC 2022-2023 year.
Invictus Gaming’s victory would mean that Xtreme Gaming are at risk of missing out on their trip to Bali. Fortunately, Xtreme Gaming are tied with Azure Ray with a standing of 4-3. The two teams will be playing against each other for the fourth and final spot from the Chinese region.
Earlier in the Summer DPC Tour, Azure Ray won against Xtreme Gaming in their series against each other, with a score of 2-1. But none of that matters now, as a single Best of 3 will determine the final representative for China.
This grueling match between Xtreme Gaming and Azure Ray will take place on the 5th of June. You don’t want to miss it.
