ESL One Birmingham 2024 Overview
April 22 marks the beginning of the ESL One Birmingham 2024 tournament, which will end on April 28. Twelve teams will compete for $1,000,000 in prize money, and most importantly, EPT points to qualify for future ESL events.
The tournament is played in a LAN format in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The Playoffs will take place at the Resorts World Arena.
It is worth noting that the 1win team failed to secure their visas in time for the event, and were replaced by OG. Additionally, Malr1ne from Team Falcons will also miss the event for similar reasons, and SumaiL will act as his temporary replacement.
The twelve participants have been divided into two groups. The Group Stage format follows a Round-robin stage, meaning each team will play a Best-of-2 series against everyone in the same group. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Upper Bracket, while the third and fourth place teams are sent to the Lower Bracket. The bottom two teams from each group will be eliminated from the tournament.

On top of prize money, teams will receive EPT points depending on their placement in ESL One Birmingham 2024. EPT points will be used to qualify for the upcoming Riyadh Masters 2024 tournament, which will distribute millions in prize pool.
