DLTV World Rankings - May 1, 2024
DLTV has updated its global team rankings after the conclusion of ESL One Birmingham 2024, also considering some Elite League results.
Unsurprisingly, Team Falcons reclaimed their number one spot in the world rankings after lifting the trophy in the United Kingdom. The MENA-backed organization is undeniably the best team in the world at the moment.
Xtreme Gaming had promising expectations ahead of Birmingham after convincingly winning the Elite League. However, they were eliminated early in the Playoffs and have dropped one rank.
The BetBoom Team is on the rise after adding MieRo` to the lineup. The Eastern European squad dominated their ESL One Birmingham group and made it to the Grand Final, but unfortunately, they lost to Team Falcons.
The Gaimin Gladiators remain in fourth place after an unsatisfactory performance following a Group Stage exit. Meanwhile, Team Spirit dropped significantly, as the TI winners have not found any success in 2024 yet.
Team Liquid and Azure Ray sit in 6th to 7th place. These two teams can beat any team on a good day, but they need to improve consistency.
G2.iG’s superstar lineup is finally showing some potential, as the Chinese squad performed relatively well at Birmingham, considering low expectations.
Tundra Esports and OG’s new lineups have finally proven their worth. Both Western European teams achieved satisfactory results at Birmingham. Tundra placed third, while OG, who weren’t even supposed to be at the event, finished fourth. A few more results from each team, and we can expect them to skyrocket through our rankings.
