Division 1 in China: start day results
Xtreme Gaming started the tour with a win over Piggy Killer, while Aster.Aries got on PSG.LGD's nerves but still lost. Let's look at the opening day of DPC China Division 1.
Xtreme Gaming 2:1 Piggy Killer
On the first map, the start was entirely for Xtreme. They gained a 12,000 advantage by the 20th minute. But they could not answer Omniknight from Xm on the midlane and Slark from flyfly later. The Piggy Killer midlaner had a terrific map on Omniknight and finished with 14/2/14 stats.
On the second map, Xtreme decided to play Alchemist again. The early stage was theirs this time too, but now they could take advantage in their favor and tie the series. Magnus, in the third position, is gaining popularity not only in Western Europe but also in China.
The decisive map also ended in favor of Xtreme Gaming. They crushed Piggy Killer in class. Xtreme highly value Alchemist at the carry and have played him three times against PK.
PSG.LGD 2:0 Aster.Aries
PSG.LGD start the tour with swings. The game was between a clear favorite and an outsider, but it wasn't without problems on the first map. In the offseason, PSG.LGD replaced the offlaner with niu instead of zeal. This changed the team's performance on Magnus.
Aster.Aries had everything to take the first map, but a couple of Ulu mistakes on Terrorblade didn't allow that to happen. PSG.LGD won.
The second attempt went without intrigue. Aster.Aries fell apart, while PSG.LGD showed a very confident game and confirmed their status as favorites.
As a result of the start of the Summer Tour in China, the first conclusions on the meta loom. Alchemist is very strong, and Xtreme Gaming is actively picking him.
