Battle Pass 2022 in Dota 2
Last night, Valve released an update with the Battle Pass 2022. As before, 25% of its sales will go to The International prize pool. This article will highlight key aspects of the Battle Pass 2022.
Battle Pass
This year the Battle Pass is split into two parts. In the first half, the users can access only part of the content, and the second half will be open after the completion of The International 11.
- First half of the Battle Pass – from September 1 to November 2.
- Second half of the Battle Pass – from November 3 to January 12, 2023.
Key rewards:
- 148 lvl – Crystal Maiden Persona.
- 176 lvl – Stoneclaw Scavengers.
- 223 lvl – Primal Beast Prestige Bundle.
- 296 lvl – Phantom Assassin Persona.
- 383 lvl – Razor Arcana.
- 494 lvl – Faceless Void Arcana.
In addition to this list, users will find several treasure chests with valuable items, heroes mock, smiles, couriers, wards, and more. The full list of items can be found on the official Dota 2 website.
Sticker capsules
For the first time in Dota 2 history, Valve has released sticker capsules for players, teams, and casters. The stickers come in several qualities: plain, holographic, glitter stickers, and gold. These can be purchased in Dota 2 for real money, with 50% of the sales going to players, teams, and casters.
For a long time, a similar system has been used in another game from Valve – CS:GO. Participants in Major tournaments receive sticker capsules, with which they earn money.
Events
Valve introduced two events at once: Cavern Crawl and Diretide. First one duplicates last year's event. You just need to win for certain heroes, thereby performing tasks. As rewards – exclusive sets and extra points for The Battle Pass. Diretide – a favorite event for users of Dota 2. Users team up to fight against Roshan. It's currently unknown what changes the event will undergo, but it will start after The International 11.
